Access & comfort

Accessibility.

We're committed to making the centre as accessible as the rural setting allows. When you enquire about a programme, tell us about any access needs, mobility, sensory, dietary or otherwise, and we'll work with you to make your visit comfortable.

  • Step-free access to key indoor spaces where possible
  • A quiet sensory room for lower-stimulation time
  • Dietary needs accommodated for residential and day programmes
  • Access needs discussed individually before every visit
Before you come

What to expect.

Programmes are structured and facilitated from start to finish. You'll receive clear joining information, what to bring, and any screening needed for activities such as cold-water therapy or sauna. Nothing is a surprise on the day.

For the evidence and safety standards behind our activities, see Science & Safety.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

Is Sorrel Sanctuary open now?

Not yet. This is a concept preview of a proposed development. The centre is not operating and does not yet have planning permission.

Can I just drop in?

No. Because the centre operates within a private residence, visits are by arrangement and tied to scheduled or private programmes.

Is cold-water therapy safe for everyone?

Not for everyone. Activities with physical risk include health screening, and some people, for example with certain heart conditions or during pregnancy, will be guided to a safer option. See Science & Safety.

Do you provide medical treatment?

No. We support wellbeing and prevention. We don't diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions, and we'll signpost you to clinical care when that's what's needed.

How big are the groups?

Small by design, a maximum of 24 participants, and no more than 30 people on site at once.

How do I book?

When the centre is operating, you'll book through this site. For now, you can register interest through our contact page, though nothing is stored in this preview.
